HP is Hiring Service Sales Support Specialist (Bengaluru)

Job Purpose

A HP maintenance contract is a valuable business enabler for customers, ensuring their investments stay fully supported. These contracts help customers manage ongoing support costs, optimise uptime, and receive the latest software enhancements to improve the end user experience and drive utilisation and efficiency.

This role supports sales teams across the globe so that the HP Inside Sales business unit can meet its sales, revenue and booking goals.

As an enabler for the sales teams, you will be an important part of the service sales process. You will work in a fast-paced centralised support team, meeting KPIs and building strong relationships with sales teams to help them meet and exceed quotas. Quotation response times will be a key target. You will work closely with the business, including the Inside Sales Team across all 8 markets and the Order Management team, to keep PO processing smooth.

Main Duties

You will be in daily contact with the sales team and handle a wide range of enquiries in a sales-focused environment. You will also prepare quotations, run reports and liaise with other departments as needed.

• Generate sales quotations and proposals, making sure quotation deadlines are met.
• Record all quotations in HP IQ.
• Prepare and request discounts in HP IQ.
• Build a thorough understanding of the Polycom and HP product and service portfolio.
• Carry out any other duties needed to keep the department running smoothly.

Computer Skills

• Price Hub and HP IQ
• Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF)
• Good Excel skills, including pivots, formulas and look-ups
• Integrated quoting tool
