Purpose

The Apprentice, General Surgical Sales role centres on account-level sales (70%) and supporting regional execution priorities (30%), while building core sales and business skills.

Major Responsibilities

1. Sales Ownership (70%)

• Manage about 20-25 Check-In accounts
• Drive sales, relationships and conversions
• Carry out calls, demos and OT support
• Maintain CRM discipline and compliance

2. Regional Priorities (30%)

• Support RBM priorities
• Work on data analytics and insights
• Check stock regularly across branches for inventory management
• Generate leads within the assigned 25-30 accounts, and support RCS execution and the phaco execution
• Follow up on and close out the minutes of the QBR meeting

3. Sales Process and Compliance

• CRM and Salesforce reporting
• Follow SOP guidelines
• RCPA and analytics

4. Learning and Development

• Build product and clinical knowledge
• Develop sales capability

Key KPIs

Sales performance, account growth, call productivity, delivery of regional priorities and CRM compliance.
