Job Summary

This role supports HR processes such as onboarding, data management, and compliance, and also advises on service improvements. The HR Global Services Advisor manages HR system transactions, improves how teams interact, and works with others to keep HR operations in sync. The role supports several HR teams, upholds ethical standards, and contributes to process improvements and projects so employees get a consistent HR experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with HR activities such as pre-hire checks, hiring in the HR system, new-hire pre-onboarding, onboarding, data changes, disability claims, leave of absence, compensation, benefits, and terminations.
• Creates and updates knowledge base articles and handles myHR-related queries.
• Manages employee records, including electronic files, keeping information accurate and up to date, and supports audits, government surveys, and reporting.
• Initiates, reviews, and approves daily HR system transactions while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Tracks trends in incoming inquiries to identify and resolve issues and advises on improving HR shared service operations.
• Monitors team interactions with employees and managers and provides coaching to improve efficiency and the service experience.
• Maintains the organization's standards for ethical business practices, professional image, customer service, and employee and community relations.
• Supports shared services leaders with process improvements, controls, change implementation, and ongoing or ad hoc projects.
• Supports Payroll, Legal, Benefits, and Country HR teams by sourcing information and producing employee documents.
• Works closely with HR partners and generalists so employees experience a synchronized HR organization.
