Job Summary

This role supports financial management by analyzing, reporting, and reconciling financial and operational results. The analyst identifies and researches variances against plans and provides recommendations to stakeholders. The position also participates in budgeting and forecasting activities while ensuring reporting compliance and assisting with priority initiatives.

The role works closely with internal stakeholders and helps maintain accurate financial insights that support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Extract data, identify key financial drivers, and use analytics to deliver insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Carry out financial analysis for specific business functions or units, addressing financial issues and supporting major business initiatives.
• Contribute to the monthly review of expenses and capital during budgeting and forecasting cycles, and analyze variances using operational insights.
• Interpret financial reports including forecasts, budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Develop an understanding of the organization's financial processes and gain knowledge of company operations and business activities.
• Support business operations by assisting with financial close activities, analyzing trends and variances, and preparing financial forecasts aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure adherence to reporting standards, corporate policies, and the accuracy of internal and external financial reporting.
• Assist with projects through research and data analysis, providing regular updates on progress and issues.
• Support key initiatives while maintaining effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and sharing insights through standardized reporting.
