About the Apprenticeship
The Google Project Management Apprenticeship is a 24-month learning and development program designed to build digital and professional skills for individuals starting their careers in project management. Apprentices will gain practical work experience with Google teams while also completing structured external training.
This is a full-time program (40 hours per week) in a hybrid role, requiring regular in-person presence at an assigned Google office. Relocation is not supported unless moving more than 100 km from your current location.
Apprentices are expected to complete the full duration of the program to receive a certificate of completion.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must not have participated in any prior Government Apprenticeship programs.
- Applicants must have an Aadhaar number linked to their active mobile number and a personal email ID.
- Applicants must commit to completing the full 24-month program in a hybrid capacity.
- This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a project management role post-graduation.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Chrome, Docs, Sheets) or similar applications.
- Fluency in English for communication, training, and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industries such as Events, Media, Customer Service, Hospitality, Tourism, Accounting, or similar.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability when working with ambiguous tasks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop general project management skills across communication, change, and risk management.
- Learn tools and techniques to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Coordinate internal resources and maintain project documentation, reports, and updates.
- Support stakeholders with relevant project information and progress reports.
- Build strong teamwork and communication skills by working with peers and leaders.
- Understand project scope, timelines, budgets, and outcomes while ensuring accurate documentation.

About Google’s Apprenticeship Program
Google apprenticeships combine on-the-job training with structured learning to build future-ready skills. Apprentices spend 20% of their time in training and the rest gaining hands-on project management experience with Google teams.
This program contributes to building digital skills and serves as a pathway toward meaningful careers. Apprentices may apply for full-time Google roles only during the final three months of their apprenticeship.
