Job Description
- Calculate, post, and verify business transactions, and maintain accounts payable records
- Process invoices with and without purchase orders
- Prepare vouchers and record invoice details, including number, date, amount, and account coding
- Verify and calculate extensions, totals, and all invoice fields
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices and payment terms
- Support the month-end closing process and ensure timely reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as Accounts Payable Certification, CFA, CPA, or CTP are a plus
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles
- Proficiency in data analysis, financial reporting, and visualization tools
- Experience with Oracle Database and other ERP systems is preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
