Responsibilities

• Review and verify insurance claim information for accuracy and completeness.
• Process claims in line with company guidelines, underwriting rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with clients to gather missing details or clarifications needed for claim adjudication.
• Identify and flag errors, discrepancies, or incomplete documentation for correction or escalation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims and related documentation.
• Support team members in resolving basic claim issues, escalating complex cases to senior staff as needed.
• Consistently adhere to policies, compliance standards, and turnaround timelines to ensure quality processing.

Qualifications

Bachelors in Actuarial Science, Finance, Risk Management and Insurance, or related field; Masters in Statistics or related field.

Certifications

Associate in Claims (AIC) - The Institutes (USA), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) - American Institute of Insurance, Certified Compliance Officer (CCO) - Vskills, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) - The International Association of Risk and Compliance Professionals (IARCP), Certified Risk Professional (CRP) - Udemy.
