Job Summary
To support our teams that build great products and drive our growth, Flex is looking to add a Junior Financial Analyst - Cost Accounting Solutions in Chennai.
What a typical day looks like
- Carry out the cost accounting activities that have been defined.
- Understand corporate policy and follow up on key cost accounting metrics.
- Drive time saving and cost reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens and process improvements.
- Work with the operations team and track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow ups.
- Post month end journal entries for accruals and reclassifications in the ERP.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs in line with the latest processes and document them in the DMS.
- Learn the role and serve as a backup for the cost accountant.
