Job Summary
Flex is looking to add a Junior Financial Analyst for Cost Accounting Solutions in Chennai to support its teams building great products and driving growth.
What a typical day looks like
- Carry out the cost accounting activities that are defined.
- Understand corporate policy and follow up on key cost accounting metrics.
- Drive time saving and cost reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens and process improvements.
- Work with the operations team and track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow ups.
- Post month end journal entries for accruals and reclasses in the ERP.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs in line with the latest process and document them in the DMS.
- Learn the role and serve as a backup for the cost accountant.
The experience we are looking to add to our team
- Basic knowledge of MS applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Good team player with analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills in day to day processes.
- B.Com, BBA (Finance), M.Com or MBA (Finance).
- Freshers or 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to understand and interpret accounting policies.
