Job Summary
Flex is looking to add a Technician for Engineering Change Management in Chennai to support teams that build great products and contribute to the company's growth.
What a typical day looks like
- Create part numbers for BOM in Agile and Baan.
- Create AVL in Agile and Baan systems.
- Download customer documents such as product specifications and release them in CDC.
- Work as a Change Analyst during NPI for new changes.
- Release part lists to production for new models and after ECO implementation.
- Manage ECOs for manufacturing sites across the globe.
- Use the Agile (PLM) system to create, review, route, track, release and distribute ECOs (Engineering Change Orders).
- Study ECOs and drawings closely and coordinate with the site Process and Product Engineering teams.
- Work with Engineering and Materials teams to review product updates and modifications.
- Respond to business partners (requestors) and customers on queries related to Engineering Change Orders.
- Ensure adherence to targets set for all process metrics.
