The Financial Modeling Group delivers expert services for advanced analytical tools, helping clients tailor their experience when using S&P Global products. The team focuses on onboarding and customer adoption for Excel add-ins, screening tools, platform customization, office tools, and proprietary data capabilities.
The group includes former investment professionals, CFA charter holders, and MBAs. Their focus is understanding customer objectives and delivering solutions that improve workflows.
As an apprentice within the financial modeling team, you will contribute to Excel modeling and platform customization workflows. This includes working with clients to implement data into their models using the CIQ and CIQ Pro Excel add-ins.
The team also converts financial models from competing platforms and maintains a library of hundreds of pre-built templates available through the Excel add-in. On the platform side, specialists guide clients on using web-based tools, build complex screening solutions, and tailor the platform interface to support individual workflows.
The Financial Modeling Group acts as a key point of contact for clients. In this role, you will build financial models, develop screens and presentations, respond to client queries, and advocate the effective use of S&P Global tools and datasets.
You will also collaborate with commercial teams on client engagement, product teams on feature improvements, and client services teams on training and support activities.
