About Global Delivery Services

Global Delivery Services (GDS) refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in supporting EY's growth agenda.

GDS started in 2002 with about 200 people and now has more than 80,000 professionals in ten locations worldwide, including Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service focuses on Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy and Transactions, and Knowledge support for clients around the world. Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled and innovative services for EY's global and local enablement teams, including Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure.

The innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. They bring together environments, technologies and skilled teams for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking, covering analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

EY is looking for candidates with knowledge and capability in managing resources and manpower using resource management and deployment tools within EY GDS.

You will execute tasks with increasing autonomy, apply sound judgment within defined parameters and contribute to team outcomes. You are expected to show initiative, resolve routine issues independently and support junior colleagues.

You will anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior team members. In line with EY's commitment to quality, you will confirm that work is high quality and reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

Key Responsibilities

• Timely updating of resource schedules on scheduling tools (Retain/Profinda)
• Timely review and resolution of scheduling conflicts
• Proactive review of resource availability and requirements
• Managing the mailbox and fulfilling scheduling requests received by email within the defined TAT
• Optimizing resource utilization through effective schedule management
• Reporting and analysis of resource availability, utilization and forecasting

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and ability to perform under tight timelines

Ideally, you will also

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office, with interest in business and commercial matters
• Power BI basics
