About the Role
In this role, you will use client data to model exposures with AIR software. A strong understanding of marine binders is a must. The key output of this process is a summary of exposures. It involves two major steps: scrubbing exposure data and applying terms and conditions, then modeling the data and publishing exposure reports.
Responsibilities
- Review submissions for data completeness and follow up with underwriters where needed (for example, SOV and slips).
- Scrub data by converting client-provided Excel files into AIR or client proprietary tool formats.
- Code COPE information.
- Import and validate exposure data in AIR Touchstone.
- Geocode all locations and analyze exposure.
- Understand insurance layer structures.
- Read and interpret slips and binders to identify terms and conditions.
- Generate insights that support better risk management based on knowledge of client data.
