Job Description
You will perform physical audits of insured businesses, which includes setting priorities, scheduling, and reviewing all related records. Conduct interviews and investigations, gather information, and prepare detailed written reports for the insurance carrier. Review audit results with business owners, carry out required actions, and send completed reports to the Branch Office or Quality Review. Correct and finalize audits returned for revision while keeping to standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform audit activities as assigned by the manager, including setting audit priorities and scheduling to meet stated deadlines.
- Prepare appointment letters, review all related business records in detail, and write reports of findings.
- Meet with business owners or managers to review audit results and implement any required actions.
- Send completed reports to Branch Office and/or Quality Review.
- Correct and complete audits previously returned for correction, then send them to Branch Office and/or Quality Review.
Audit assignments may require travel to various site locations.
