Eaton Hiring Engineer Mechanical Reliability in Pune | Freshers Eligible

What you'll do:

Eaton India Innovation Center's Electrical Risk Management Center of Excellence is looking for an Engineer - Reliability to join the team. The role is based at the office in Magarpatta City, Pune.

Core responsibilities:

• Deliver DFR work packages across multiple New Product Introduction (NPI) and Sustaining Engineering (SE) projects for electrical product lines, with high quality and on schedule.
• Identify and mitigate reliability risks under guidance, and follow the reliability sign-off process for NPIs.
• Perform warranty data analysis and forecasting, publish monthly warranty reports, and drive problem solving for the top warranty issues.

Create or revise DFR deliverables such as reliability goal setting, reliability predictions, Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Accelerated Life Test, Reliability Demonstration Test (RDT), Reliability Growth Analysis, FRACAS for NPIs, VAVE projects and existing product improvements.

Work with cross-functional teams to design in reliability on NPI programs, existing product improvements and VAVE projects. Identify, manage and mitigate reliability risks under senior supervision.

Plan project milestones, execute them, conduct deliverable reviews, communicate with stakeholders, and develop skills on the job through technical mentoring.

Skills:

• Skilled in reliability statistics, FMEA, FTA, 8D, FRACAS, life modelling, and turning field or warranty data into life and failure rate information.
• Experience with industry-proven reliability analysis tools such as Minitab or Reliasoft is preferred.
• Desired: work experience in Design for Reliability.
• Preferred: DFSS Green Belt certification from a reputed organization.
