Job Title: Global Emerging Markets - Trading Enabler
Corporate Title: Associate
Deutsche Bank’s Emerging Markets business provides a fully integrated global product platform with strong execution capabilities. The team focuses on market making and delivering client solutions across a wide range of EM products including external debt, Credit Default Swaps (CDS), FX, rates, options, and complex cross market derivatives spanning multiple jurisdictions.
The Asia Local Markets Linear Trading business operates across several geographic locations and supports the full spectrum of ALM products, from vanilla cash bonds and FX to structured solutions. The platform serves institutional and corporate clients across Asia and other major trading centers, including London and New York. The CIB Centre collaborates globally across functions such as structuring, portfolio management, quantitative analytics, platforms, sales and trading enablement, and risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Price various FX and rates products including FX Forwards, NDFs, FX Swaps, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), and Cross Currency Swaps (CCS) across multiple currencies.
- Manage, analyze, and report risk positions, P&L, and sales markups for APAC trading desks.
- Develop tools to monitor risk and perform detailed historical and scenario analysis using market data.
- Create models to hedge NDF fixing exposures internally across regions.
- Analyze trade data and client flow to support efficient pricing and improve market penetration.
- Collaborate with ABFX and Business Intelligence teams to enhance the FIC APAC platform.
- Track desk positions and market movements to identify opportunities to monetize trading axes.
- Understand regulatory frameworks and restrictions in Asian markets to identify cross border trading opportunities.
- Monitor changes in market liquidity to detect stress conditions and interpret market behavior.
