Role Overview
This position supports the Business Finance function for the Private Bank (PB) franchise. The role manages divisional finance topics and works closely with the PB CFO, COOs, and business managers across multiple hub locations.
The analyst will handle a variety of finance activities such as month-end ledger closing, journal postings, P&L reporting, revenue flash and actual reporting, balance sheet substantiation, and financial disclosures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in producing, validating, reporting, and analyzing P&L statements, including month-end financial statements, substantiation, and disclosures in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support preparation of Revenue Flash reports and explain variances against previous trends and developing actuals during ledger close.
- Collaborate with business managers across regions and business units to analyze movements in financial results and provide driver-based explanations for cyclical or event-based changes.
- Assist with month-end ledger postings, FX exposure management, balance sheet substantiation, and financial disclosures.
- Support the execution of key financial controls and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
