Job Title: Corporate Actions & Income Analyst - NCT

This role focuses on processing and resolving discrepancies related to accrual processing, record date balancing, and payments to institutional counterparties on traded stock positions, stock lending positions, and client holdings across EX and record dates for voluntary and mandatory corporate actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate between DBOI teams and onshore or nearshore partners.
  • Manage high transaction volumes and escalate issues to the Team Manager or onshore clients when required.
  • Process daily activities within defined benchmarks while maintaining minimal errors.
  • Reconcile trade positions and books to determine entitlements.
  • Book new positions across internal Deutsche Bank systems.
  • Follow up with counterparties on claims and initiate payment processing.
  • Perform post-pay-date reconciliation and complete file closure activities.
  • Spend approximately 50 to 60 percent of time handling transaction processing and supervise daily deliverables for assigned processes or sub-processes.
  • Act as the first escalation point for exceptions and aged breaks.
  • Allocate work to process executives through system queues and email requests.
  • Ensure controls are properly executed and maintain four-eye verification.
  • Maintain compliance with internal and external process guidelines to support a strong control environment.
  • Inform the Team Manager about exceptional occurrences and manage team responsibilities during their absence.
  • Oversee leave management for the team.
  • Provide training to other team members on process functions.

Primary Working Relationships

  • Internal clients including Event Management and Client Services Group
  • Brokers, clients, and custodians through phone and email communication
  • Internal teams across onshore, nearshore, and offshore locations
  • Operations control teams handling break issues across Bangalore, London, Frankfurt, Jacksonville, and Pune

Skills and Experience

  • Strong understanding of corporate actions processes
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage complex situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal English communication
  • Ability to interact clearly with internal and external stakeholders through phone and written communication
  • Willingness to work in different geography business hours and shifts
  • Availability to travel when required
