Your work profile
Technical capability: you need excellent knowledge of Ind AS and a good understanding of how IFRS differs from Ind AS. Exposure to and knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage.
- Apply relevant accounting standards, execute Ind AS engagements independently, and research complex technical accounting issues.
- Prepare, or be able to prepare, Ind AS, IFRS and US GAAP compliant financial statements, including consolidated financial statements.
- Stay current on applicable laws, regulations and new pronouncements relating to Ind AS, IFRS and US GAAP.
- Understand Internal Control over Financial Reporting, with exposure to SOX and the COSO framework.
- Gain exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, S/4 HANA, Oracle or MS Dynamics.
- Use MS Office well, work with large volumes of data and present insights.
Key skills required
- 0-2 years of experience in Accounting Advisory.
- Qualified CA, ACCA or graduate.
- A team player with a proactive, result-oriented approach, able to prioritize, handle multiple assignments and manage ambiguity.
- Good presentation and communication skills, with strong MS Excel skills and experience handling large volumes of data.
