The Indirect Tax practice offers compliance and advisory services, supported by technology, to help clients meet their obligations in fast-changing indirect tax regimes. Your Work Profile
As an Executive in the Indirect Tax team, you will build and maintain positive working relationships with teams and clients, aiming to exceed their expectations. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing tax computations after adjusting tax credits
- Finalizing eligible Input Tax Credits based on data shared by the client
- Coordinating with clients to discharge tax liabilities
- Preparing and submitting GST returns
- Handling day-to-day GST and other indirect tax queries from clients
- Compiling and filing GST/IDT registration and surrender applications, and liaising with GST/indirect tax departments
- Maintaining compliance data in retrievable, GST-compliant formats and sending compliance MIS/trackers to clients
- Working with accounting software such as Tally, SAP or Oracle (preferred)
- Assisting the team with internal matters such as billing and risk compliance
Key Skills Required
- Graduates or semi-qualified CA/CS/MBA (Finance) with 0-2 years of experience in indirect taxation
- Good technical knowledge
- Clarity of concepts
- Team player
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Persistent and persuasive
