Technical Apprentice
Dell Technologies customers depend on the company’s products and services to drive progress. The Service Delivery team focuses on ensuring that technical solutions support clients in achieving their priorities, addressing challenges, and advancing key initiatives. Teams build a deep understanding of each customer’s goals and ensure the services delivered meet those expectations.
Service Delivery also works closely with Sales and Global Services teams to support strategic account growth and identify potential sales opportunities. The Technical Apprentice will join the LabOps team in Bangalore and gain hands-on experience supporting lab and engineering activities.
What You’ll Achieve
As a Technical Apprentice, you will learn specialized technical tasks through structured on-the-job training. During the 12‑month apprenticeship period, you will assist the department with operational activities and develop practical technical knowledge.
- Participate in all required training programs communicated by the team
- Learn departmental processes and support routine tasks that require minimal troubleshooting
- Install Windows operating systems on standalone servers
- Install and manage operating systems such as Linux, Solaris, HP UNIX, and AIX
- Set up and configure test environments as requested by engineering teams
- Handle lab requests raised by engineers
- Deploy and create virtual machines within the VMware vCenter environment
Essential Requirements
- B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of software applications including Windows and Microsoft Office
- Exposure to installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows operating systems
- Exposure to Linux environments
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP troubleshooting

- Ability to communicate effectively with senior team members
- Collaboration and teamwork skills
