About the Role
As a Data Analyst at S&P Global, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for gathering, analyzing, and maintaining high-quality financial and non-financial data. This role involves working with diverse datasets, monitoring industry publications, and synthesizing insights to support global market intelligence.
The Team
Our Data Analysts collaborate across multiple specialized groups, including Events, Private Data, Fundamentals, Transactions, Estimated Data, and Market Data. The team leverages both internal and external sources to deliver accurate and comprehensive data to clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and enter financial and non-financial data into work tools following established guidelines.
- Develop a thorough understanding of assigned datasets and workflows.
- Propose improvements to data collection methods and product features.
- Meet individual and team targets with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Support process improvement initiatives, including automation projects.
- Review and address feedback to enhance data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Post-Graduate or MBA in Finance with strong academic performance (passing year 2024/2025).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and financial statements.
- Familiarity with secondary research sources.
- Willingness to work in a 24x5 rotational shift environment, including night shifts.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to conduct efficient thematic online research.
