Job Overview

Unisys is seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering concepts, tools, and best practices while working on real-world projects that protect enterprise systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and apply cybersecurity engineering principles, methodologies, and industry standards.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
• Support security tool administration, updates, and maintenance.
• Conduct network scans to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation steps.
• Assist with system modifications, upgrades, and enhancements to improve security posture.
• Participate in incident response activities, including investigation of breaches, threats, and anomalies.
• Coordinate security audits and prepare relevant documentation.
• Evaluate and test security products for potential adoption.
• Stay updated on emerging security technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Contribute to special security-related projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant professional experience.
