Description
The Cognizant Fresher Hiring program for 2025 engineering graduates offers exciting entry-level roles under three categories: GenC, GenC Pro, and GenC Next. These roles are designed for tech-savvy individuals with strong problem-solving and coding skills, offering opportunities to work on real-time projects, develop applications, and contribute to innovative digital solutions.
Educational Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (Streams such as Leather Technology, Food Technology, Fashion Technology, etc. are not eligible)
- Minimum 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG, and PG (rounding off 59.9% is not permitted)
- No active backlogs at the time of joining
- Appropriate CGPA to percentage conversion must be as per university norms
Roles and Responsibilities
GenC Role:
- Understand business requirements and create documentation
- Develop, test, debug, and deploy code based on specifications
- Develop test scenarios based on data requirements
- Work in Agile development environments and follow SDLC practices
- Create low-level component designs
- Prioritize tasks and manage timelines efficiently
- Proactively address development issues and risks
- Participate in project meetings and deliver high-quality solutions
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies
- Collaborate effectively within teams
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
GenC Pro Role:
- Technical proficiency in enterprise platforms/products such as Cybersecurity, Oracle, Salesforce, Mulesoft, Pega, SAP ABAP, SAP Basis, and ServiceNow
- Must possess industry-recognized certifications in relevant technologies
GenC Next Role:
- Advanced programming and full stack development skills
- Strong coding maturity with expertise in Java, C#, Web Technologies, Python, Cloud, and other frameworks
- Must hold certifications in one or more of the technologies listed below

- GenC Next: ₹6.75 LPA
- GenC Pro: ₹5.4 LPA

Skill Cluster Options
- Skill Cluster 1: Java, ANSI SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (default cluster)
- Skill Cluster 2: Python, ANSI SQL, Cloud Fundamentals
- Skill Cluster 3: C#, ANSI SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Note: 85% of questions will focus on Java/Python/C# and ANSI SQL respectively.
Final skill cluster assignment is at the discretion of Cognizant. Candidates must be willing to learn technologies based on business needs.

Important Instructions

- Flexibility to work from any Cognizant location and on any shift/technology is mandatory
