Overview
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prioritize testing activities to ensure optimal coverage.
- Collaborate with the design team to discuss and implement verification protocols.
- Identify weaknesses and problem areas in software applications.
- Suggest automated test procedures, utilizing the Karate framework and Gherkin language.
- Track software bugs and investigate root causes.
- Prepare automation scripts using the Karate framework.
- Troubleshoot automation software and resolve issues effectively.
- Develop test plans and cases with Gherkin syntax for clarity and ease of use.
- Prepare detailed test reports and document findings.
- Prioritize and execute tests to meet deadlines.
- Review technical specifications and design documents for accuracy.
- Conduct regression testing as required.
- Monitor quality assurance metrics and analyze process results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
- Previous experience in QA automation (0-1 years).
- Proficient in programming languages, including Java.
- Familiarity with automation systems, databases, and scripting languages.
- Experience with the Karate framework and Gherkin language is a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
