Role Overview
This Sales Support Specialist position is a developing professional role that applies specialized knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data. The role supports the sales team by improving client experience and sales efficiency while working with clients, internal stakeholders, and control functions.
The position involves making evaluative decisions based on factual information, resolving issues through prior experience and established procedures, and supporting end-to-end sales infrastructure activities.
Responsibilities
- Work with sales teams, client executives, and clients to support all stages of the client and sales lifecycle.
- Coordinate internally and help prepare materials ahead of client meetings, including maintaining presentations and marketing content.
- Support client meetings and document call reports in relevant systems.
- Track and help execute follow-up actions from internal and client meetings.
- Assist in developing and executing client strategies and sales initiatives, including maintaining reports.
- Maintain CRM systems and ensure internal records remain accurate and updated.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Finance teams to maintain proper governance and controls.
- Promote responsible finance practices, governance standards, supervision, and ethical conduct.
- Assess risk and reward appropriately while safeguarding the firm's reputation and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Support onboarding activities through coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Provide pre-trade support to ensure clients are ready to trade, including KYC, onboarding, legal, tax, and credit setup activities.
- Support RFP, RFQ, and RFI requests.
- Act as a point of contact for escalations such as settlement issues, data discrepancies, and margin disputes.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization through root cause analysis.
- Support automation and re-engineering initiatives to improve sales and client experience.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of client onboarding procedures including KYC and OFAC requirements.
- Experience working with CRM systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong client interaction and internal coordination abilities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
