Meet the Team
The Cisco Legal IT team supports the Legal and Compliance business units by building and maintaining systems that enable efficient and secure operations. These platforms help manage complex legal workflows and ensure internal teams have the tools required to work effectively in a global environment.
The team includes engineers, designers, and product managers who collaborate closely to deliver user focused solutions. The group values innovation and practical design, combining strong technical expertise with a focus on simplifying complicated processes.
Your Impact
- Develop secure, high quality software solutions that simplify legal processes and improve productivity for Cisco’s Legal and Compliance teams.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including product management and design to convert user requirements into intuitive applications.
- Apply secure coding practices to protect the integrity and privacy of sensitive legal data.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and production support.
- Explore emerging technologies such as Generative AI to automate repetitive tasks and enhance the current software ecosystem.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 0 to 1 year of professional software development experience, including internships or academic projects.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile engineering practices.
- Basic knowledge of secure coding standards and user privacy concepts.
- Familiarity with CRM platform architecture and integration concepts.
- Experience through coursework or projects involving Generative AI, large language models, or prompt engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Salesforce CRM development, including knowledge of Apex or Lightning Components.
- Experience working within collaborative and cross functional teams.
- Interest in user experience and design thinking approaches.
