The IT Infrastructure Support team is looking for an IT Analyst Technical Infrastructure to join the CAT IT group in Bangalore. This role is suited for recent graduates or early career professionals who want hands-on exposure to Linux server administration, infrastructure support, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Linux Administration: Provision, configure, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Ubuntu servers.
- Security and Automation: Apply operating system security patches and use tools such as Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Support and Monitoring: Monitor systems using tools such as Zabbix, assist with incident investigation, and maintain system documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Working knowledge of Linux command line and scripting using Bash or Python.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and infrastructure workflows.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Linux+ are considered beneficial.
Nice to Have
- Basic exposure to container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes through academic projects, labs, or internships.
Work Environment
This role is based at the Bangalore PSN office and requires working onsite five days per week. The shift timing for this position is 01:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST.
