Job Description

Purpose of the Role

The role supports the organisation in meeting its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and helping design solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and analyse business problems and client requirements that require organisational change.
• Develop business requirements aimed at addressing operational issues and opportunities.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their expectations.
• Assist in building business cases that justify investment in proposed initiatives.
• Conduct feasibility assessments to determine whether proposed solutions are viable.
• Help prepare reports on project progress to ensure delivery within timelines and budget.
• Support operational and process design activities to ensure solutions remain within agreed scope.
• Contribute to change management efforts, including maintaining traceability matrices to support successful implementation.

In this role, you will support testing activities by performing due diligence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and helping protect both clients and the organisation.

Key Testing Activities

• Create and maintain the UAT execution tracker and provide daily updates.
• Execute test cases by accessing relevant systems and completing required test steps.
• Coordinate with impacted teams to complete testing cycles.
• Record UAT observations during daily triage discussions.
• Perform defect re-testing and follow through until closure.
• Document test outcomes and present results to business stakeholders.
• Ensure approvals for test scripts and related artefacts are properly archived.
• Understand UAT scenarios based on provided requirements.
• Prepare or request appropriate test data for execution.

Preferred Skillsets

• Basic knowledge of Java, Selenium, and the Cucumber framework.
• Familiarity with AML processes or banking domain knowledge.
• Understanding of test scripting practices.
