Job Description

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

To be successful as a Full Stack Developer, you should have experience with:

• Proficiency in developing frontend and backend applications as Full stack developer.
• Proficiency in developing middleware / backend API’s/applications using Java & REST API’s using Spring boot.
• Proficiency in developing Java based applications, API’s using Spring framework including knowledge across Core Spring Framework, Sprint boot, Spring Security, ORM, JPA, Hibernate, Unit testing.
• Proficiency in developing Microservices, Schedulers, standalone app using Java/Spring boot.
• Good hands-on experience on Kafka, MQ.
• Good hands-on experience of Standard coding practices, Error/Exception handling.
• Good working knowledge on Developing UI with React JS/Angular JS.
• Good working knowledge on Relational and no-SQL Databases of MS-SQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
• Good working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD using Jenkins, GitLab.
• Good working knowledge of code quality tools like SonarQube, Veracode, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GIT, Gitlab etc.
• Good working knowledge of Agile development using Jira, Confluence.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Experience/knowledge on Cloud service, AWS.
• Experience/knowledge on managing CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience/knowledge on Gen AI tools, Claude, Git Duo.
• Nice to have experience on Python.
