Overview
The Banking Support Analyst provides reliable support to the Banking team, ensuring efficient execution of various tasks. Working under senior team members, the analyst assists with data management, reporting, risk assessment, and compliance. The role supports Investment Banking teams globally by offering foundational assistance for a wide range of transactions, including capital raises and mergers and acquisitions. The objective is to enhance team efficiency by contributing specialized expertise across multiple banking functions.
Responsibilities:
- Team Support & Task Allocation: This role provides dedicated support to the Banking team. Specific duties are performed under guidance and focus on efficient execution, including:
- Assisting in preparing documentation for potential deals, ensuring adherence to guidelines.
- Compiling and summarizing data on client relationships and transaction history, ensuring accuracy.
- Assisting in generating pre-defined reports for market analysis, ensuring timely delivery.
- Supporting the development of presentation materials by formatting data and creating visuals.
- Assisting in maintaining databases of key contacts and client information, ensuring data integrity.
- Contributing to the organization and distribution of market research reports.
- Assisting in the collection, organization, and validation of data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Contributing to the creation of reports, presentations, and marketing materials under close supervision.
- Assisting in maintaining and updating databases related to clients, transactions, and market data.
- Supporting due diligence and risk assessment by gathering and organizing documentation.
- Assisting with deal-oriented and operational tasks, such as documentation and timeline management.
- Collaborating with team members to improve data management processes and streamline workflows.
- Performing other operational tasks as needed.
- Assessing risk appropriately when making business decisions, safeguarding the firm's reputation, and complying with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to execute tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Proven ability to organize and manage data effectively.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with financial markets and concepts, and banking operations preferred.
- Commitment to maintaining data accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
