Job Description
The Global Technology division runs the critical systems and platforms behind the company's retail, commercial and institutional businesses, along with key support functions worldwide. Its teams build leading technologies for mobile and online banking, payments processing, technology infrastructure, cyber-security, risk and capital management and enterprise data management.
Global Technology teams also explore immersive technology, including virtual reality, artificial intelligence and practice simulations. In this role, you will use leading technology solutions and integrated platforms so customers and clients can bank with the company anytime, anywhere.

Responsibilities
This role develops and delivers complex requirements to meet business goals. You will help ensure software meets functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, with well-designed solutions that build in maintainability, ease of integration and testing from the start. The role calls for solid knowledge of industry development and testing practices and of design and architectural patterns.
- Works across development teams to help refine stories and deliver data requirements through the delivery life cycle
- Uses architecture components in solution development and codes solutions that integrate, clean, transform and control data in operational and analytical systems, per the defined acceptance criteria
- Builds processes for data transformation, data structures, metadata, data quality controls, dependencies and workload management, and defines and builds data pipelines for data-informed decisions
- Takes part in developing and running test plans, including integration, regression and performance suites, analyses test reports, and supports triage of underlying causes
- Contributes to IT projects to deliver on time and follows team delivery and release processes
- Helps identify, define and document data engineering requirements and communicates what is needed for deployment, maintenance, support and business functions
- Works with technology partners and stakeholders to close gaps in data management standards, negotiate paths forward and communicate solutions to data problems
- Understands the application life cycle and data lineage, and supports application flow and data accuracy
- Builds and monitors key controls so applications stay available with near-zero downtime and data validations succeed
