Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Associate Engineer - Engineering Change Management in Coimbatore.
What a typical day looks like:
- Creating part numbers for BOM in Agile and Baan, and creating AVL in Agile and Baan systems.
- Downloading customer documents like product specifications and releasing them in CDC. Working as a Change Analyst during NPI for new changes.
- Releasing part lists to production for new models and after implementation of ECOs. Efficiently managing ECOs for manufacturing sites across the globe. Using Agile (PLM) system for ECO (Engineering Change Order) creation, reviewing, routing, tracking, releasing, and distribution.
- Studying ECOs and drawings closely, and coordinating with the site Process and Product Engineering team.
- Working closely with Engineering and materials teams to review product updates and modifications.
- Responding to Business Partner (requestor) and customer queries relating to Engineering Change Orders. Ensuring adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Diploma or B.Sc (EEE/ECE) graduate with 0-2 years of experience as an NPI/ECO Engineer in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the EMS industry.
- NPI (New Product Introduction) experience.
- ECO (Engineering Change Order management) experience.
- BOM (Bill of Materials) Management experience.
- Hands-on experience in any PLM software linked to the ECO process.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (mandatory).
- Knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook.
- Good analytical skills.
- Coaching and mentoring skills.
- Conflict resolution skills.
