Role Overview
The Associate Analyst position is part of the Risk Management Services (RMS) team, specifically within the Independence Assurance Support Group. This role involves executing globally defined processes based on EY Global Independence policies to safeguard EY's position as an independent auditor.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a working knowledge of firm-level Independence concepts.
- Review and assess submissions from client-serving teams for completeness and accuracy.
- Reconcile and analyze information using EY Independence and financial tools.
- Update EY systems with accurate data post review by project managers.
- Communicate with project managers and audit teams to follow up on pending responses.
- Interpret client company structures and entity relationships as per policy definitions.
- Conduct secondary research using internal and external databases.
- Participate in knowledge calibration sessions to address process understanding gaps.
- Meet and exceed defined KPIs for the role.

Qualifications
- Graduate/Master's/Post-graduate degree, preferably in Finance.
- 0–1 year of experience in research and analysis, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Exposure to client interactions is preferred.
- Basic understanding of company and ownership structures, auditor independence, and risk management concepts.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
