About the Role
S&P Global is seeking enthusiastic fresh graduates for its Apprentice, Software Development/Engineering program in Gurugram, India. This is a 12-month apprenticeship designed to provide hands-on experience, mentorship from industry experts, and opportunities to develop essential technical and professional skills.

You will be part of a collaborative and global engineering team that works on innovative solutions for the financial markets. The team focuses on delivering high-quality software and technology platforms to help clients navigate complex market challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement technical solutions under guidance.
- Develop software products using modern, scalable, and resilient technologies.
- Work on data engineering challenges and cloud-native applications.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Assist in implementing and improving CI/CD pipelines.
- Set up monitoring and logging solutions for systems and applications.
- Follow security best practices, including encryption and vulnerability scanning.
- Document infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Engage in continuous learning and skill development.
Basic Qualifications
- B.Tech (CS/IT) in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field.
- Knowledge of Python programming.
- Familiarity with databases, SQL/PL-SQL, and RDBMS concepts.
- Theoretical understanding of AWS, Power BI, AI/ML, and large language model applications.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with at least two days onsite per week.
Program Details
This apprenticeship is governed by The Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (India) and is open to 2024 and 2025 graduates. The program offers a structured pathway to gain industry experience and develop market-ready skills.
