Responsibilities and Impact
Responsibilities
- Support the processing and maintenance of structured finance transactions, including loans, bonds, asset-backed securities, equities, and derivatives, by accurately updating and validating data in internal systems.
- Assist in trade settlement activities and ensure timely processing of borrowing transactions, repayments, amendments, restructurings, and related lifecycle events.
- Review transaction documentation and source materials to capture and maintain accurate financial records.
- Help monitor daily operational activities, investigate discrepancies, and support reconciliation and cash balancing processes.
- Generate and review operational reports, identify exceptions, and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal teams, portfolio managers, custodians, agent banks, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure data accuracy.
- Respond to client and internal stakeholder requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, reporting activities, and special projects as assigned.
Impact
- Contribute to the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data supporting structured finance portfolios.
- Help ensure efficient transaction processing and operational excellence for global clients.
- Gain exposure to financial markets, structured finance products, and interactions with key industry participants.
- Support critical business operations that enable informed decision-making and high-quality client service.
- Develop analytical, problem-solving, and operational skills while building a strong foundation in financial services and capital markets.
