About the Role
KPMG is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst to join its Audit Data & Analytics team in Bangalore. This position offers a hybrid work mode and involves supporting the Germany geo, with working hours typically from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM or as per business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, prepare, and transform data (ETL) including cleansing and validation using KPMG D&A tools, routines, and scripts.
- Coordinate with engagement teams and clients to obtain necessary data for audit analytics solutions.
- Process analyses using KPMG AI (Mindbridge) and KCw Data Workbench tools such as Planning Analytics and Journal Entry Analysis.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues in data preparation and transformation routines, scripts, and validation results.
- Create and update guidance and training materials.
- Deliver audit D&A solutions ensuring timely and quality outputs.
- Understand ERP systems from a functional or techno-functional perspective.
- Utilize analytics and visualization tools like Alteryx, SQL, Azure, and Power BI to present insights in a user-friendly format.
- Collaborate with engagement teams to discuss analytical results.
- Document processes and procedures for user and administrator reference.
- Maintain data confidentiality and adhere to firm risk management policies.
Qualifications
- B.Tech or Bachelor's in Computer Applications.
- Experience in ERP or Data Analytics.
- 0-2 years of post-qualification experience (Big 4 or leading audit firm experience preferred).
- Proven technical project management and debugging skills.
