Job Description

As an Associate 1, you will be responsible for demonstrating basic accounting and auditing knowledge, understanding audit procedures performed by GDC, and familiarizing yourself with audit tools and applications like MS Office. You will perform audit procedures efficiently and effectively within the given time while maintaining quality.

You will participate in self-development activities in technical and project management areas, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and take part in or lead team and group activities. You will be an integral part of the GDC teams assigned to US audit engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate basic accounting and auditing knowledge.
• Understand and learn audit procedures performed by GDC.
• Maintain effective and timely communication with onshore and offshore team members.
• Ensure work is performed with high quality and completed within agreed turnaround time.
• Maintain chargeability of hours to meet annual targets.
• Participate in and nominate yourself for various firm initiatives and activities.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and participate in team and group activities.

Mandatory technical and functional skills:

• Audit and accounting knowledge.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, with an emphasis on MS Excel.
• Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
