The Finance PMIS Intern will support key financial and accounting processes across the organization. The role includes structured training and collaboration, with the chance to experience the day-to-day work of Amex Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Influence and communicate with multiple levels of stakeholders across the team.
• Support the Project Manager on new business initiatives that require technology development with financial accounting, reporting, or control impacts.
• Help define end-to-end balancing and controls within financial processes.
• Support Project Managers in creating accounting requirements with Segment and Market Controllership.
• Perform user acceptance testing of finance requirements.
• Work with process owners and provide post-implementation support.
• Create project documentation, including process, system, and accounting flows.
• Help the organization ensure compliance with AEMP 16.
• Assist with process improvement projects.
• Keep learning new processes and methods, and adapt quickly to changes across the enterprise.
• Support the automation of core GFII processes.
