The Information Management (IM) Function at Airbus is looking for an enthusiastic SAP & AI Intern who enjoys IT, enterprise software, algorithms and artificial intelligence. You will help deliver innovations that accelerate the next generation of digital products in a dynamic, fast-paced, agile environment.

The Role

In this role, you will connect complex business processes, enterprise technical architecture, data structures and modern AI algorithms. You will work alongside experienced functional, technical and AI specialists to gain hands-on experience with SAP module workflows, Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and AI-driven enterprise automation. You will balance real-time operational troubleshooting with active work on current development pipelines.

This is ideally a 6-month internship, starting in January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes and technical architecture within the Airbus SAP landscape.
• Design and write efficient algorithms using suitable data structures to solve complex data processing and logic challenges in enterprise systems.
• Apply machine learning and AI concepts to evaluate and optimise ERP business processes, workflows and data analytics.
• Support the translation of business requirements into functional and technical specifications and algorithmic flowcharts.
• Assist with extraction, transformation, cleansing and loading (ETL) tasks for enterprise systems and AI model training datasets.
• Take part in unit testing, system integration testing (SIT) and validation for software enhancements and AI integrations.
• Help log, analyse and troubleshoot functional or technical incidents under senior mentorship.
• Follow AI and technology trends and help teams apply them within Airbus to strengthen its competitive edge.
• Follow compliance requirements, internal policies and procedures at all times, acting with integrity.
