Job Summary

Airbus India Private Limited is looking for a motivated and analytical Data Science Intern to join its team. The internship gives hands-on experience applying data science methods to real aerospace problems, working on projects that shape the future of aviation.

Job Responsibilities

As a Data Science Intern, you will take part in a range of data science work, including:

• Helping collect, clean and pre-process large datasets from different sources.
• Applying statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to draw useful insights from data.
• Developing and implementing predictive models for complex business problems.
• Visualizing data and presenting findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Working alongside experienced data scientists and data engineers on ongoing projects.
• Researching and evaluating new data science tools, techniques and methods.
• Documenting processes, methods and results for future reference.

Job Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following qualifications for this internship:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Solid grounding in statistical concepts, machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language used in data science (e.g., Python, R).
• Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Basic understanding of SQL for data querying and retrieval.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• A keen interest in the aerospace industry and a desire to learn and contribute to cutting-edge projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
