Airbus Hiring Software Developer Intern in Bangalore

We are looking for a motivated Junior Developer Intern to join our team. This role suits recent graduates or entry-level candidates who enjoy software development and want to build their skills. As a Junior Developer Intern, you will work alongside experienced developers on the design, development and maintenance of software applications.

Candidates should have basic knowledge of full stack development and the software development lifecycle, and be comfortable moving between front end and back end technologies. You will take part in all phases of product development (DevOps and Agile mindset) to keep the Airbus IT landscape running smoothly, reliably and efficiently.

This is a 6-month internship, ideally starting in January 2027.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong grasp of programming fundamentals and object-oriented concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python).
• Knowledge of web development technologies such as Angular, React, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with software development projects or internships.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Basic understanding of Unix, Linux or Windows servers.
• Basic understanding of Cloud and DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of code analysis tools and IDEs.
• Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum).

Responsibilities

• Work with senior developers to understand project requirements and objectives.
