Role Overview

The associate will process invoices allotted to them into SAP within the given timeframe and with good quality. They should be able to identify and escalate exceptions to their supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-level quality checks of invoices for documentation and accuracy.
• Identify PO and non-PO invoices and process them accordingly.
• Prepare templates for LGI invoices.
• Flag problematic invoices and communicate them to the supervisor.
• Carry out first-level follow-up with the concerned requestor or vendor when required.
• Process correct invoices into SAP with accurate information and tax treatment.
• Work with foreign currencies and handle gain or loss calculations.
• Handle amortization of prepaid expenses.
• Maintain accuracy in processing.
• Perform buddy checks on invoices processed by other assistants.
• Experience working on payment profiles is a plus.

Requirements

• Commerce graduate or postgraduate with 0-1 years of experience, or a fresh commerce graduate.
• Good communication and email writing skills.
• Good accounting knowledge.
• Good knowledge of withholding taxes or GST.
• Good knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
