The Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) Young Scientist Laboratory for Quantum Technologies (DYSL-QT) has released an official notification inviting applications from meritorious UG and PG students for a paid 6-month internship program in Pune. The program offers a valuable opportunity for students to gain hands-on research experience in fields like Quantum Computing, Quantum Communication, and Quantum Sensing.

    • B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication

    • M.Tech (3rd or 4th semester) in relevant disciplines from AICTE/UGC recognized institutions.
  3. For M.Sc Physics Students:
    • Must be in the 2nd year, preferably with a focus on Optics.
  4. Academic Performance:
    • Minimum 8.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale or 85% marks consistently in all semesters.
    • Should possess a strong academic record and achievements (if any).
  5. Age Limit: Below 28 years
  6. Other Requirements:
    • Application must include a brief bio-data (under 300 words).
    • Students must not have any backlogs.
    • Recommendation letter from the Principal/Director on college letterhead is mandatory.

Stipend Details

Selection Procedure

  • This internship does not guarantee any future employment with DRDO.
  • Selection and final decisions are at the sole discretion of DYSL-QT management.
