Key Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover meaningful patterns and insights
• Conduct capability testing of modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Databricks
• Design and develop evaluation frameworks for Agentic AI Systems
• Assist in building frameworks for reusable design patterns in Generative AI product development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into data solutions
• Document methodologies, findings, and code to ensure reproducibility and transparency
• Demonstrate full commitment to Weir’s zero harm safety principles and contribute to a world-class safety culture

Eligibility Criteria

Education Required:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related fields
• Must be available for a full-time internship for a duration of 2 months

Skills Required

Technical Skills:
Python, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, SQL, Generative AI, Data Visualization

Other Requirements:

• Basic understanding of statistics and machine learning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Exposure to Generative AI is a plus
• Familiarity with data tools like Microsoft Fabric and Databricks is preferred
