About the NATS Program
The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) is a flagship Government of India programme for skilling Indian youth in trade disciplines. Under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (amended in 1973), Volvo Group offers graduates practical, hands-on On-the-Job Training (OJT) with a duration of 1 year.
Qualifications & Experience
- BCom/BBA graduate who passed out in 2024, 2025 or 2026. All mark sheets and the provisional degree certificate are mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and posting journal entries in the general ledger.
- Support GST, TDS and fixed asset accounting.
- Help prepare workings for the remittance of TDS and GST.
- Provide information support for periodic return filings for TDS, GST and similar.
- Handle employee claims and settlements.
- Perform account reconciliations (balance sheet reconciliations).
- Coordinate with other finance teams (P2P, O2C) to ensure data accuracy.
- Learn and use ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for financial transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Help prepare financial statements and reports.
