Job Description
UST is looking for a Validation Technician to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting post-silicon validation activities and ensuring platform readiness.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure Microsoft operating systems.
- Understand platform ingredients for post-silicon validation.
- Apply basic knowledge of system BIOS, UEFI framework, USB, multimedia, drivers, camera, disk, desktop, power management, Type C, and silicon technologies.
- Identify test cases to be executed from the available set.
- Use benchmark tools, stress and stability testing, and power management techniques.
- Analyze system power states and device states, and understand test strategies.
- Work according to the client schedule and adapt to flexible timing and work locations.
- Reproduce reported failures in required platform configurations and manage defects.
- Attend client meetings to understand requirements clearly and work with systems on racks.
Skills
- Ability to understand various Windows product features and execute test cases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to analyze and debug issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with different teams.
- Ability to assemble and troubleshoot computer systems.
- Ability to understand, articulate, and isolate issues observed during test execution.
