What success looks like in this role

The Associate Systems Administrator develops familiarity with systems administration concepts, practices, and methodologies while supporting day to day infrastructure tasks. The role involves working under guidance and gradually building practical knowledge of administrative processes and tools.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Creating, updating, and publishing network diagrams and configuration documentation.
• Performing routine administrative activities such as device configuration and troubleshooting.
• Responding to operational issues and addressing client requests.
• Reviewing hardware requests to ensure compliance, compatibility, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Researching and analyzing system related issues.
• Supporting the development, implementation, and documentation of project tasks.

You will also document assigned work activities and track progress while applying company and industry standard system administration policies and guidelines. Participation in special assignments or projects may be required as directed.

Qualifications

A BE, BA, or BS degree with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
