About the Role
Milliman is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Data Engineer to join the MedInsight (Dev) team. This internship offers hands-on experience with advanced data engineering tools and exposure to AI integration within data workflows. It is ideal for fresh graduates eager to develop their technical skills and work on impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the organization's mission, values, and goals, and align your work accordingly.
- Actively engage in learning opportunities, training sessions, and professional development activities.
- Gain proficiency in Databricks, SQL, PySpark, and Azure DevOps through practical project work.
- Gradually take on more responsibilities and work with increasing independence.
- Collaborate effectively with a distributed, global team and communicate across time zones.
- Get exposure to AI technologies and their integration into data engineering solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Familiarity with PySpark and cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Exposure to AI/ML projects or frameworks is a plus.
Education
BE/B.Tech, BCA, or MCA graduates with little to no professional experience are eligible to apply.
