Job Description

General Customer Service covers post-sale technical and non-technical support for business and end-consumer customers across several sub-families:

• Remote Customer Service: Support delivered by phone, online chat or text. This includes call center support for a high volume of low complexity inquiries, and analysis and resolution of a lower volume of more complex issues, typically in an office environment.
• Distribution Center Customer Service: Work in a distribution center, product returns or repair center, or a walk-in service facility. This includes acting as a liaison between customers, production and distribution teams on specific orders, and giving technical and non-technical support at a walk-in service center.

Roles at this level require basic knowledge of job procedures and tools, gained through work experience, and may require vocational or basic technical education. Supervision is moderate, and the role involves solving routine issues independently, with occasional deviations or improvements to standard procedures. These positions are not compensated based on sales target achievement.
